No Lights in Seattle!
This Christmas season has been a challenging one for me! I’ve had a ton of people order the Amazing Magic Kit for thier kids the last couple of days…but due to a storm that came through Seattle on Thursday, I lost power for FIVE days!
That makes life very difficult for an internet business like www.amazingmagickit.com
However dispite having no power at my office, and the Post Offices in my area without electricity as well, I managed to get every single order shipped out within 24 hours of it being placed!
How did I do this…Magic!
Well I moved my office first to my mother-in-laws living room (they had power). But once I heard that they expected power to be out for 5-7 days, I decided to move my office once again to a hotel that had power. I like my mother-in-law and didn’t want to wear out my welcome.
Then I would have to drive around the county to find post offices that had power to ship the magic kits.
My wife thinks I’m crazy to work that hard when a storm knocked out power. She said people would understand that since most of the region was “dark”, they couldn’t expect thier packages to ship the next day.
I made sure every package went out ASAP, because I didn’t want one single kid to be disappointed on Christmas morning because their magic kit was delayed due to a widespread power outage.
